There are so many things I enjoy about being a wedding photographer, but one of them is seeing all the different ceremonies that bind couples and familes together. Cara and Seth incorporated their own practice of mindfulness into their service  at the Swedenborg Chapel in Cambridge, reminding everyone to truly live in the moment.  As someone who meditates before every wedding I photograph so that I can be fully conscious for the families that hire me, I truly appreciated this part of the service. The couple were married underneath a chuppah, constructed by the groom’s father, using trees from his property, and was decorated with paper cranes.

Cara & Seth’s wedding at the Harvard Art Museums was a truly special event to be involved in. They took advantage of several of the amazing buildings there, including having their first sight and group photos indoors at the Busch-Reisinger Museum, the ceremony at the beautiful little Swedenborg Chapel right next to the Busch-Reisinger, and then had their reception in the Calderwood Courtyard in the Fogg Museum. It’s always a pleasure photographing at the Harvard Art Museums since The Catered Affair coordinates and is so well organized, in addition to serving incredible food.

The flowers  were especially beautiful at this wedding and were provided by Kelly at Artistic Blossoms.
